Pentecost is Sunday, June 5.  Each year we celebrate the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and as part of our celebration we receive the Pentecost Offering.  The Pentecost Offering supports ministries with children and youth. Yellow Bags May 2022

Each month we invite you to participate in ‘yellow bag’ giving. This month our yellow bag donations go to the Refugee Team for their support of refugees through the International Rescue Committee (IRC).

As Wichita continues to receive refugees, the IRC prepares kits for their homes. Receiving these kits provides a warm welcome and helps the new residents stretch their limited money. This month we invite you to bring cleaning supplies and paper towels.  This is our focus, but there are ...

March 21, 2022

  • The Grace Session met on March 21 in the Grace Alcove.
  • The meeting was opened with a devotional and prayer by Hal Pluenneke and was closed in prayer.
  • The Session approved holding the April 24, 9 am worship service at the Great Plains Nature Center.
  • Elder Hal Pluenneke and Deacon Bill Woolf were examined for ordination/installation.
  • Catherine presented research on possibilities for a staffing structure study. The Session voted to work with Ministry Architects.

Vacation Bible School: June 20-23

This June we travel to Adventure Island for Vacation Bible School.  We’ll meet a lighthouse keeper and a Puffin who will guide us through four days of fun.  We’ll experience these Bible Stories:

  • Moses and the Burning Bush
  • The man whose friends lower him through the roof to Jesus
  • Stories of things that are lost
  • Easter Morning with Mary
