Laundry Love: May 10

Laundry Love is coming! Laundry Love is the monthly Grace initiative where we take-over a laundry mat once a month and pay for everyone’s laundry.  Laundry Love is a national program. Our laundry mat is College Town Laundry located at 3223 E 17th St N by the WSU Campus. What Grace Mission Money Means to EmberHope

We serve children, adults, and families struggling with a number of challenging life issues. Many we serve have experienced backgrounds most of us cannot imagine. The abuse, neglect, and trauma is sometimes unbearable to hear. But our staff help with these problems every day.

Yellow Bags: May

Each month on the first Sunday you’re encouraged to take home a re-usable yellow grocery bag, put some non-perishable items in it, and bring it back the next week, or soon thereafter. In May, wel split our donations between the Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church Food Pantry and the Head to Toe Hygiene Pantry.

Our focus for this month is toilet paper!

John and Gwen Haspels in Worship: April 26

Longtime missionaries, John and Gwen Haspels, join us for worship on Sunday, April 26. John and Gwen were ambushed and attacked in their car while driving in Ethiopia last fall. Miraculously, they both survived. They are back home in Kansas for a while, and we are excited to welcome them to Grace.
