Weddings

Our church is available for weddings of members and non-members. Call Leah at 684-5215 or email Leah@mygpc.org to check available dates, arrange a visit or ask other questions. See below for some frequently asked questions.

  • Do you allow non-member weddings at Grace?

Yes, we allow non-member weddings.  Members and non-members alike pay for the services of the staff for weddings, and non-members pay an additional fee for the space. Each wedding held at Grace must be approved by the church governing body.

  • May a non-member use his or her own pastor as the wedding officiant?

Yes, a non-member may use his or her own pastor as the wedding officiant. The Grace Presbyterian Session must give approval for all outside officiants.

  • What is the cost for a non-member wedding?

The cost for a non-member wedding at Grace is $1500. This includes the use of the space and the payment for the custodian, organist, sound technician, and wedding coordinator. This does not include an honorarium for the pastor, and that will be determined by you and the pastor.

  • Do you require pre-marital counseling?

All couples who get married at Grace must participate in pre-marital counseling, but the counseling does not have to happen at Grace.

  • Do you allow same-sex weddings at Grace?

Yes, same-sex weddings may be held at Grace.  As with all weddings, the Grace church governing board approves each wedding held at Grace.

Building Usage
