Planning a visit to Grace or want to know more about us? Here are answers to some frequently asked questions (FAQ):

  • What do Presbyterians believe?

The PC(USA) summarizes Presbyterian beliefs this way:

God is the supreme authority throughout the universe. Our knowledge of God and God’s purpose for humanity comes from the Bible, particularly what is revealed in the New Testament through the life of Jesus Christ. Our salvation (justification) through Jesus is God’s generous gift to us and not the result of our own accomplishments. It is everyone’s job – ministers and lay people alike – to share this Good News with the whole world. That is also why the Presbyterian church is governed at all levels by a combination of clergy and laity, men and women alike.

  • Where's the church?

Grace is located at 5002 E. Douglas, just one block east of Oliver, in Wichita’s Crown Heights neighborhood. For reference, Watermark Books, Aspen Boutique and the many other shops and businesses are just down the street at Douglas and Oliver.

  • Where do I park?

Parking is available on the north and east sides of the church and across Bleckley to the west. See the orange markings on the map.

  • When I get there, where do I go?

The 9 am worship service with our band is in the Great Room. The 11 am worship service with our choir is held in the Sanctuary. Feel free to ask anyone any questions you have, as we pride ourselves on being a warm and friendly community.

  • How do I become a member?

Grace offers new member classes several times a year. They are designed to give you more information about the church and its members and allow the community to meet you and answer any questions or concerns you have. People join Grace church in several ways. Some were raised in the Presbyterian faith and are coming back to church or are moving to Grace from another church. Others are new to church membership. No matter their path, all are welcome to worship with us.
