Prairie Fire Marathon, Breakfast Potluck, and Bluegrass Worship: October 13

Sunday, October 13, is the Prairie Fire Marathon and Half Marathon.  For the seventh year, runners race past Grace starting at around 8 am.  We sit on the lawn to cheer for them as they zoom down Douglas.

Cheering, waving, and clapping for the runners is joyful, particularly when you see in the faces the difference the encouragement makes.  Bring a chair or plan to stand.  Our presence on the lawn is an important witness to the community.

At 10 am you’re invited to a potluck breakfast in the Great Room. Bring your favorite breakfast foods to share, and enjoy fellowship with the GPC Community.

Worship is at 11 am in the Great Room.  We welcome Bluegrass musicians to lead us, and Dr. Martin Burch preaches.
