In “Stitched Together,” preached on World Communion Sunday, Pastor Kevin Ireland reflects on how Christ joins our lives, congregations, and communities into a dwelling place for God. Beginning with the image of a woman stitching colorful fabric scraps into a quilt in Zambia, the sermon explores the beauty God creates through our differences and the peace Christ brings by breaking down dividing walls.

Drawing on Psalm 19 and Ephesians 2, Pastor Kevin invites us to listen for God’s glory in creation and recognize our place in the body of Christ. As we gather around Christ’s table with siblings in faith around the world, we celebrate the One who stitches us together into a beautiful tapestry of belonging, reconciliation, and hope.
