Faithful Families  – Meets in the Great Room

This intergenerational class equips families to pray, read scripture, and worship God together at home. Whether you’re a family of one or family of six, there’s something for you. If you’re a parent, your children and youth attend this class instead of individual classes, and you will enjoy the time together.

Do you want to know more about the Bible but don’t know where to start?  All fall we offer a Bible 101 class. Each small unit (three weeks for the first unit) provides an entrance into scripture. If you’ve studied the Bible before you’ll enjoy the refresher.

This follow-up class for adults who participated in the three weeks of Faithful Families gives us the chance to talk about how it worked to incorporate (or try to incorporate) the practices of prayer, scripture and worship at home. Did something work well? We’d love to hear.  Was something unrealistic or a disaster?  Maybe someone else has a better solution.

Youth and Mental Health – Meets in Room 103

Every year families in our church and connected to our church have teenagers who experience mental health crises. Some are short-term, some longer. Some involve outside help; others are managed at home. One of the biggest challenges is how to talk about this and where to turn for help. Whether or not you live with a teenager, you are part of a church with teenagers, and this class offers you insight into these young people.
