Easter is coming! I love Easter. It brings me deep joy to stand with you and proclaim that Christ is Risen. Easter is a wonderful day at Grace. It’s a day when we anticipate large crowds at both worship services, and so I’m writing to ask for your help. Here are a few simple things you can do to help visitors feel more at ease here on Easter:

Tutoring Celebration: April 14

Join us Tuesday, April 14 at 5 pm for the Tutoring Celebration. This marks the end of another great year of tutoring at Grace. Throughout the school year, students from Hyde Elementary School have walked to Grace in the afternoons to get help with reading. On this day, their families join us as we celebrate the year. Each tutor will present his or her student with a book in honor of their hard work.

Family Afternoon at Get Air!

Join us on Sunday, March 29.

All families with children twelve and younger (older siblings welcome with adult supervision) are invited to jump, tumble, and flip on the state of the art trampolines at Get Air in Wichita located at 130 N New York Street.  You receive a discounted price of $5.00 per person.  This is a  great activity for parents to do with their kids. Cancelled: Food Trucks on April 8

The Food Trucks scheduled for tonight have been canceled due to the uncertain weather conditions. Look for news later in the spring about our next food truck event.

The Food Trucks are coming back to Grace. Join us for dinner on Wednesday, April 8, from 5:30-7 pm. Three local food trucks will set up in our east parking lot.

Yellow Bag Sunday – April

Each month on the first Sunday you’re encouraged to take home a re-usable yellow grocery bag, put some non-perishable items in it, and bring it back the next week, or soon thereafter. In April, our donations go to the Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church Food Pantry. All non-perishable items are welcome, but you’re encouraged to bring canned meats/beans/proteins in April.
