Gamblers Anonymous

Gamblers Anonymous (GA) has held meetings at Grace for about 15 years.  GA leadership reached out and asked us to share information.  March 2023 is designated as Problem Gambling Awareness Month.  There is a desire to share the word about GA, particularly with legalized sports betting in Kansas and the new casino in Park City.

Meetings are “open,” however, once at the meeting, “all you see there, all you hear there, and what you say,” is confidential.  The GA Mission is to abstain from gambling and help other compulsive gamblers to do the same. There are no required dues or fees – the only requirement for membership is the desire to stop gambling.

Area GA Support Group Open Meetings are:

  • Grace Presbyterian, Room 201 – Mondays and Fridays from 6-7 pm
  • Church of Magdalen, 12626 E 21st St North, St. Joseph Room – Tuesdays 6-7 pm

Easter Flowers

Each year on Easter Sunday, the worship spaces of our church feature the abundant beauty of Easter flowers, given for God’s glory and honoring our loved ones. Following worship, the flowers are delivered to members who cannot regularly join us. You can participate by purchasing an Easter flower.

Call the church office, mail your check marked “Easter Flowers,” and let us know in whose memory or honor the flowers are given. The names will be listed in the Easter bulletin.
