The robes are cleaned, the new stoles have been delivered, and it’s time to start the choir back up!
Rehearsals begin Wednesday, September 4, and the choir sings the following Sunday, September 8. Rehearsals are from 6:00-7:00 pm. The season starts with anthems that center around our current series on Esther.
Feel free to invite a friend or family member with you to choir rehearsal. The more the merrier. See you all soon!
Starting Sunday, August 18, your Worship Team and Rev. Dr. Steven Marsh will lead a seven-week sermon/message series on the Book of Esther titled “For a Time Such as This.” Each week, they will explore one chapter of Esther, looking at its significance then and for today. Join in by reading the corresponding chapter before worship.
August 18 – Chapter 1: “The Time is Now”
August 25 – Chapter 2: “Thinking, Not Blamming”
September 1 – Chapter 3: “Favoring, Not Shaming”
September 8 – Chapter 4: A storytelling drama
September 15, Chapter 5: “Living the Vision”
September 22; Chapter 6: “Resting, Investing, and Loving”
September 29, Chapters 7+: Concluding Drama

Please add the dates below to your calendar and join us for lunch and discussion. All meetings are scheduled after one service on Sunday: service at 10 am and lunch/meeting following around 11 am.
It is time again to update our church database to make sure we have current or correct contact information. Next Sunday, tables will be in the foyer outside the Sanctuary with attendee information sheets. Please take a moment to look at your information.
Let our volunteers know if we need to update your information. For those who attend online, there will be a form on our website or in Grace News on August 22.
Our August Yellow Bag collection goes to another educational cause close to our congregation’s heart – Jacob’s Learning Ladder. Once again, you are encouraged to give a monetary gift through the Church to help JLL buy items that are needed. Please designate your gift as JLL on your check or if by cash, with a note identifying your gift to JLL. If donating online, choose the Yellow Bag designation.

Plastic Organizer and Storage Bins for Refrigerator, Kitchen, Cabinet, or Pantry Organization
