Worship at 9 am is in the Great Room and is led musically by our band. The style is less formal than the 11 am service.  The 11 am service is in the Sanctuary and is led musically by our choirs. The style is more traditional.

There is NO Sunday School on Sunday, May 29.  On this day there is ONE worship service at 10 am in the Sanctuary.

Here’s where you will find education and fellowship opportunities at 10 am for the first four Sundays of April.

Children ages 0-Pre-K

• A nursery is available all morning from 8:50 – 12:15.  From 10 – 10:45 am Colissa Fry leads a Sunday School lesson for these children.

Kindergarten – 2nd grade

• Meet in the Great Room May 1, 8, and 15 for Bible Trivia with people of all ages.  Parents are encouraged to attend. Look for regular teachers Merodee Grannis and Kendall Drake.

3rd grade – 5th grade

• Meet in the Great Room May 1, 8, and 15 for Bible Trivia with people of all ages. Parents are encouraged to attend. Look for regular teachers Geoff Snook and Dale Haury.

Youth

• 6-8^th graders meet in the Youth Center (downstairs)
• 9-12^th graders meet in the Youth Center (downstairs)

 Adults

• Room 208 (The Steamers Room) – An ongoing class where all are welcome.Francie Ekengren teaches the class in May.  The class focuses on the book of Acts.
• Great Room  – All adults are invited to the Great Room for three weeks of Bible Trivia, May 1, 8, and 15.  This is a wonderful opportunity to play with and get to know children in our congregation.

May 1     

Catherine Neelly Burton preaches this Sunday, and we celebrate the sacrament of communion.  The scripture for the day comes from Leviticus 16.

May 8   

Catherine Neelly Burton preaches this Sunday, and we celebrate the sacrament of baptism at the 11 service.  The scripture for the day comes from Numbers 27 and 36.

May 15     

This is Pentecost Sunday!  Catherine Neelly Burton preaches.  In addition to celebrating Pentecost we recognize our graduates in worship.

May 22

May 29    

This is a ONE service Sunday with worship at 10 am.  We welcome Dick Neelly to the pulpit and celebrate the sacrament of baptism. Dick is Catherine Neelly-Burton’s dad and a retired PCUSA pastor.

April 3  

Geoff Snook preaches this Sunday, and we celebrate the Lord’s Supper. Geoff wears many hats, including teaching our 3^rd-5^th grade Sunday School class. He is also a PCUSA pastor.

April 10  

We welcome Geoff Snook to the pulpit for a second Sunday.

April 17  

Catherine Neelly Burton returns from maternity leave and preaches this day.

April 24    

This is a ONE service Sunday with worship in the Great Room. Worship is led primarily by our children this day, and Catherine Neelly Burton preaches.  We had our first children-led worship in 2015, and the congregation was blessed by the leadership of our youngest disciples.

CHILDREN AGES 0-Pre-K

YOUTH

• 6-8^th graders meet in the Youth Center (downstairs)

ADULTS

Two new short-term adult classes start April 3. Dr. Martin Burch and Steve Hooper teach April 3, 10 and 17.

1. Early Christianity with Steve Hooper (Room 208: Steamers Room). Steve continues an exploration of the story of the early Christian Church. Everyone is welcome to join the class and explore with Steve.
2. Taking Another Look with Martin Burch (Room 101). Join Martin in an examination of some stories from the Old Testament. Why study them? What do they say to us in a post-Christ world?

Sunday, March 6

The Grace Drama Team proclaims the word on this Sunday through a drama called Promises, Promises. The Lord’s Supper is celebrated.

Sunday, March 13

Joyce Daniel preaches at 11 am on this day. Joyce and her husband, Danny Daniel, are retired pastors from Arkansas City who have preached at Grace many times. The 9 am service is led by Grace members.

Sunday, March 20

On Palm Sunday, the 9 am service is led by Grace members. Danny Daniel preaches at 11 am.

Thursday, March 24

Maundy Thursday evening worship at 7 pm includes the Lord’s Supper. Scott Randle preaches this night.

Friday, March 25

Good Friday worship at noon is thirty minutes and includes music and scripture.

Sunday, March 27

Christ is Risen! On this Easter Sunday we celebrate our risen Lord with glorious music (including brass), beautiful art and flowers, the Lord’s Supper, and the word proclaimed. Jennifer Snook preaches this day.\
