Save the Date

Grace is part of an interfaith group of communities working on the issues of chronic homelessness and access to mental health. On May 9, over 2,000 members of our Sedgwick County community present the plan to our city and county representatives. More information on the draft plan is available at the kiosks at both entrances. Look for more information soon.

Memorial Garden

It’s Garden Time!

The Garden Team has started work this spring! We work Friday mornings and would love to have a few more workers join us, raking, weeding, trimming, planting, watering, etc. We do everything except lawn mowing. If you would like to help make the church grounds beautiful, please contact Don Allison at 315-655-6395 or Bill Wynne at 316-644-4600.

April Yellow Bag Recipient: Covenant Food Bank

April’s Yellow Bag donations go to our long-standing partner, Covenant Presbyterian Church Food Bank. The congregation serves many families each month by providing food staples. Please consider donating nourishing foods such as canned meats, peanut butter, canned vegetables/fruits, pasta and sauce, and shelf-stable milk. We encourage you to donate items in cans, plastic jars, or boxes. Place your donated items by the coffee bar. If you prefer to give a monetary donation, put a check in the offering plate and note it is for Covenant Food Bank. We will ensure that your donation gets to the Food Bank. NOTE: If you have any yellow bags at home, please bring them back to the church—filled if possible. Your generosity is always appreciated and always goes to worthy causes.

Adult Sunday School Class

Adult Sunday school resumes after Easter. Join us starting Sunday, April 7, at 10:00 am in the Grace Parlor. The class is comprised of adults of all ages. We resume our study of the Sunday lectionary. The class does a deeper dive into the scripture that is the basis for Dr. Marsh’s sermons. This is a good place for people to jump in and gain insight into scripture, ask questions, and learn together.
