In November/December, our congregation actively participates in several opportunities to give back to our community.

One way to give a helping hand to those in need in our community is to support HumanKind Ministries’ Operation Holiday.  Food and gift items will be collected in barrels located in the Church.  Drop off those donations in barrels, and they will be delivered to the distribution point.  Collection will start in early November.

We are a very giving congregation, and we certainly have a servant’s spirit.  Donating to one or more of these holiday programs allows us to do God’s work on earth.  Thank you for your generosity.

Let’s begin the celebration of the coming of Christ with a congregational gathering for Hanging of the Greens, soup potluck, cookie baking and deliveries, and family crafts. We gather on Saturday, November 29, to enjoy fellowship and decorate the Church.

9:00 am – 1:00 pm

Please stop by the bulletin board near the coffee bar to sign up for the activities you wish to join.  Come for the entire time or drop in when you can.

You can be part of Grace’s Advent and Christmas celebration by purchasing a poinsettia plant for $25.

Additionally, you can dedicate the plant in memory of or to honor someone you love below. Do join us on Sundays in Advent to experience the beauty of the season.

Curious About Joining Grace—or Just Curious About Presbyterians?

We’re starting a New Member Class for anyone interested in learning more about Grace Presbyterian Church, exploring membership, or simply discovering what it means to be Presbyterian.

This casual, discussion-based class is led by Pastor Kevin. It’s a chance to ask questions, share your faith story, and learn about our Reformed tradition and the rich history of Grace Presbyterian Church.

If you’d like to join the conversation (or just find out more), please reach out to Pastor Kevin.

Grace is taking food donations starting in November and continuing until the federal government reinstates the SNAP food assistance program for those in need.

We are supporting the Covenant food pantry and maintaining an emergency food supply here at Grace. In 2024, the Covenant food pantry served families 1,514 times, a 40% increase over 2023.

By August 1, 2025, they will have served around 850 families. About 125 or so a month. They are expecting a dramatic increase in the need for those who are unemployed and work for the federal government, as well as those who now have no safety net in the form of SNAP benefits.  They will take any shelf-stable food items or monetary donations to buy fresh vegetables.

If making a financial donation, please include ‘Yellow Bag Food’ in the memo line, whether by check or through mygpc.org donations.
