Yellow Bags for November and December

The next two months of Yellow Bag donations focus on a couple of causes our congregation has supported in the past. We began with the Alternative Gift Market (see the bulletin board by the coffee bar for details and volunteer opportunities) and continued with the Salvation Army’s Angle Tree and Humankind’s Operation Holiday program.  Please watch for these very important ways to serve our community.  Specifics will be announced in upcoming Grace This Week editions, bulletin board displays, and in our online posts.

Our congregation is very giving, and your generosity is greatly appreciated during the upcoming holiday season and year-round.

Watermark Event: Thanks for Your Help!

Thank you to all the volunteers who helped us welcome the 400+ people who came to the Watermark event last Monday night. And thank you to the clean-up crew who stacked and racked all 400 of the chairs used that night. It was a great event, and you helped make it that way!

An Invitation

qrOur partnership with Younglife through its WYLDlife program has dramatically blessed our youth ministry and this church.  Former WYLDlife youth are in the praise band, run sound, have gone through Confirmation, and joined the church. These youth have blessed this church through our partnership and God’s leadership in more ways than we can count.

On Friday, November 10, from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm, you are invited for lunch to hear about all that is Younglife/WYLDlife in our local schools, not just Robinson. It is free, but you will be given the opportunity to support YL/WL.

Come to East High School’s New Gym entrance (south side of EAST).  Enter off Grove just south of Douglas.  Please ask Kirk Anderson, Director of Student Ministries, for more information. RSVP by November 3 at wpsyounglife@gmail.com or scan the QR code.

Contribution Questions? Leah’s Office Hours

Do you have questions about your contributions for this year? Do you want to know where your giving stands related to your pledge? Leah Plush, our Financial Administrative Assistant, can answer those questions for you. Leah works part-time, and it can be hard to connect with her.
