The Trustees, led by Scott Eads, are offering tours of all the areas of the church you may not have seen. So many of the areas that are not typically in public view are essential to the functioning of the church. This is an opportunity to not only explore the church building but also to better understand the ongoing needs of the building. Each tour is about 20-25 minutes and starts at 10:30 am from the coffee bar area. On October 8 the tour explores the basement, on October 15 we tour the main floor, and on October 22 we move to the second floor. Please plan to join Scott and learn more about the church’s facilities.
Help Get Hygiene Products to Those in Need!
Grace is hosting a Dignity Drive for Giving the Basics Wichita during October! GTB is asking specifically for bar soap, body wash, deodorant, tampons, and toilet paper. These are the items that are needed currently. This year, GTB already serves 163 schools, 52 organizations, and two police departments. Giving the Basics Wichita has been distributing more products these past months to our local domestic violence shelters, transitional housing, schools, homeless shelters, and food and hygiene pantries to get hygiene products into the hands of those who are going without. Our efforts to get hygiene products into the hands of those in need are greatly appreciated.
