Sunday Morning Preaching Schedule for September 2019

  • September 1: Amy Baumgartner preaches this Sunday.  Amy is a PCUSA pastor and good friend of our church.  We celebrate the Lord’s Supper at both worship services.
  • September 8: Catherine Neelly Burton preaches from Genesis 2:4-25.  This is the first Sunday of our the ‘Narrative Lectionary.’
  • September 15: Catherine Neelly Burton preaches from Genesis 18 and 21.  We look at stories of Abraham, Sarah, and Isaac.
  • September 22: Catherine Neelly Burton preaches from Genesis 32.  We look at the story of Jacob wrestling and receiving a new name.
  • September 29: Catherine Neelly Burton preaches, and we move into the book of Exodus.  We start in Exodus 1 and witness Moses meeting God in Exodus 3.
