We gather on Easter Sunday, April 17, to celebrate the resurrection. We worship at 9 am in the Great Room and 11 am in the Sanctuary. Both worship services are streamed online.

Egg Hunt: Easter Sunday, April 17
Gather on the south lawn of Grace Presbyterian Church for an Easter Egg Hunt at 10 am on Easter morning, April 17. There are two areas set up for egg hunting: one for children five and under; one for children ages six-12.
The young at heart are encouraged to come and watch our Grace Kids and enjoy fellowship on the lawn.
In April we partner with Giving the Basics for our Yellow Bag drive.

Giving the Basics Wichita started in the Midwest in 2011 when a small group of people came together to help a family in need. The family was struggling to make ends meet. They were requesting food donations from the local pantry but their basic necessities of life like shampoo, toothpaste, laundry detergent, diapers and toilet paper were not available. These products were not covered by government assistance programs. The family was too embarrassed to ask for these items from other sources, so sadly they went without. The concerned group of people decided something needed to be done. They pooled their resources and agreed to help the family until they were able to help themselves. Giving the Basics Wichita was born.
Now entering its ninth year, Giving the Basics Wichita has grown by teaming with more than 140 non-profit organizations and 350 local schools to distribute personal care items in the KC area (in both Missouri and Kansas). These hygiene items immediately help low-income families with small children, students, battered women, veterans, senior citizens, former prisoners and the mentally ill. Our services provide products that allow children to attend school feeling fresh, comfortable and open to the learning environment. They help young adults address issues needed to gain employment and have an opportunity for improved health, hope and dignity. From homeless teens to single moms, veterans to recently released prisoners, Giving the Basics Wichita positively impacts members of our community from many walks of life. We serve children and families of all ethnicities and religious beliefs.
Donation barrels are located at the north and sanctuary entrances to Grace (Doors 1 and 6) as well as at the Jacob’s Learning Ladder office. Consider dropping off items anytime in April. The items needed are:
Let’s reconnect after this long time of COVID separation! Join with other Grace members (adults and teens), in small groups of six to nine guests meeting at various homes for dinner and fun conversation. Sign up at the bulletin board by the coffee bar or by calling the church office, 316-684-5215.
You may sign up for more than one date that you are available. By your name, place a “1” for the optimal date, and a “2” for the second date choice.

You’ll be contacted by the home host to discuss lunch/dinner times and location. The host homes, which are in the process of being selected, will provide the main dish and beverages.
