We have a yard sign for you! We miss you at Grace and would love to put a sign in your yard. Feel free to stop by the church and pick up one, or call us, and we’ll deliver.

This year Vacation Bible School (VBS), like many things, will look different at Grace. In an effort to be sensitive to those who are at risk, we have decided to record segments of VBS and post them on our Facebook page.
Now, families can enjoy our VBS content together as they explore the life of King David, learn from our puppet friends, and enjoy craft tutorials and music. Look for these videos June 13-16.
We had our annual Bike Day. We were so thankful for the sunshine and the not too chilly temperature.
Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we navigate through this time of uncertainty. Many of our children are staying at home because their parents are working from home or their older siblings are home now because of the schools closing. We are working extra hard trying to stay connected through our private Facebook page and through Zoom calls.
Proverbs 7:1-3 “1My son, keep my words and treasure my commandments within you. 2Keep my commandments and live; guard my teachings as the apple of your eye. 3Tie them to your fingers; write them on the tablet of your heart.”
Last month at Messy Church we talked about offerings. What do children have to offer to God?
We came up with quite a few things, for example, children offer a curious mind especially when it comes to understanding God. Children offer joy to those around them. Children offer time and hope and they can offer their minds by memorizing God’s Word. Then, it occurred to us that everyone can do this.
So, we invited the entire congregation to join us in memorizing God’s Word during the Kids Lead Sunday Service.
Here’s how to participate…wooden heart ornaments are available outside the children’s ministry office. Take a wooden heart and write a scripture reference on it that you have memorized. Then, hang that heart on the bulletin board by the coffee bar where you will find other hearts hanging. Select another heart with a different scripture to memorize yourself. Once you memorize that Scripture, bring that heart back and hang it up for someone else to memorize. Let’s see how many Bible verses we can write on the tablets of our heart as a Church body.
Children in Ms. Bettejo’s class prepared for the Super Bowl by making signs and Kansas City Chief’s headbands. We also celebrated Kansas’ Birthday by wearing our favorite Kansas Team gear on January 29.
Around Valentine’s Day the children exchanged valentines with their classmates, celebrated with special treats and played fun games!
