IPNC Update

The IPNC is hard at work contacting pastors who have expressed an interest in serving as our interim pastor. They continue to conduct initial one-on-one screening conversations and have followed up with two candidates for interviews with the full committee. Please keep the committee in your prayers.

The Good Neighbor Team

The Grace Good Neighbor team was out last Saturday helping with cleanup for a house in NE Wichita.  If you want to join this team, please contact Bill Vavra or Bruce Gealey.

Adjustments in Our Music Ministries

Tyler Morris needs to relinquish some of his responsibilities at Grace, and we are able to accommodate this request with the personnel we have. Tyler remains the Director of Chancel Choir and handles most of the sanctuary music needs. Fortunately, Bryce Mulkey, our drummer and Director of the Praise Band is willing to become the Bell Choir Director and Director of Music Ministries. We thank Bryce and Tyler for working together to allow this important ministry at Grace to continue to flourish.

Grace Potluck Picnic: This Sunday!

Everyone is invited to OJ Watson Park (Shelter #4) this Sunday, September 17, from 5:30 to 8:00 pm, for a potluck picnic! Grace provides the proteins, buns, utensils, plates, and condiments. Just bring your family and a potluck dish to share. Visit with your Grace friends, rent a kayak, ride the train, pedal a boat, play miniature golf, or ride a pony. There’s plenty to do for the whole family. See you then!
