Save the date! It’s all church retreat time. Join the congregation in August for two days of fellowship, fun, and Christian growth together. This year we’re heading to Prairie View Christian Camp near Arkansas City. Keep an eye out for more information.
- Every two seconds someone in the US needs blood.
- One pint of blood (the approximate amount given in a donation) can be used to help up to three people.

- Five million patients in the US need blood every year.
On June 23, we host a Red Cross Blood drive at Grace from 8 am – 1 pm. Sign up to donate on Sundays at Grace, by calling the office – 684-5215, or by visiting their website: http://www.redcrossblood.org/rcbmobile/drive/chooseDonationTime.jsp
You may use the “rapid pass” and save time on the day of your donation. Go to Rapid Pass to finish the pre-donation reading and health history questionnaire online before coming to your appointment.
Hallelujah Luau: God’s Mission for You is the theme of our Vacation Bible School week at Grace happening June 10-14. Kids pre-K to sixth grade enjoy a week full of music where they learn to play the ukulele as well as discover some of the great missions in the Bible.
Each day, our Vacation Bible School crew learns about a missionary who served God in specific ways, and on Friday morning the students perform a ukulele concert for all who wish to attend. If you would like to be involved, we need more hands in the craft area, tent leaders, and snack helpers. You may sign up to help any of the days we have available. Just let us know what days you are free when you sign up. If you have any questions, please contact Jennifer at jennifer@mygpc.org
Each month Grace distributes bus tickets to people in our community. This happens on the 15th of the month, or if the 15th is on a weekend we meet the Friday before. Volunteers and those receiving tickets begin to gather around 6:30 am in the Grace Alcove. Guests are greeted with smiles, coffee, water, and a place to sit. Tickets are distributed at 7:50 am.
We can always use volunteers to help with set-up, clean-up, and ticket distribution. Want to help? Contact Kirk Anderson, kirk@mygpc.org or 684-5215.
