9 am           Worship in the Great Room

10 am         Education and Fellowship (see below for August Information)

11 am         Worship in the Sanctuary

Worship at 9 am is in the Great Room and is led musically by our band. The style is less formal than the 11 am service. The 11 am service is in the Sanctuary and is led musically by our choirs. The style is more traditional.

Here’s where you will find education and fellowship opportunities at 10 am every Sunday in August except for August 2.

Children ages 0-4

A nursery is available all morning from 8:50 am – 12:15 pm.

August Events for All Children, Youth and Adults

  • There is ONE service on Sunday, August 2, at 10 am in the Great Room.
  • There is one intergenerational Sunday school experience for everyone in the Great Room at 10 am, beginning August 9.  This is for everyone ages 0-100 on August 9, 16, 23 and 30. The theme for the class is “On Your Mark, Get Set, Sabbath,” and we spend the month exploring ways to joyfully rest in God.

Grace is hosting a blood drive on Sunday, August 9, from 8 am – 1:30 pm. Sign up on Sunday, July 26, or August 2 to donate, or call the church office at 684-5215. We need 18 people to participate in this drive.

Are you new to Grace?  Have you been visiting for a while? Would you like to know more about the church?

Join Pastor Catherine Neelly Burton for a “Get to Know Grace” class on Sunday, August 2, from 9:00-9:45 am in the church parlor.

This is a ONE service Sunday with worship at 10 am. “Get to know Grace” is a time to ask questions and learn more about who we are. No RSVP is needed.

On Wednesday, July 15, we welcome guests to Grace to receive bus tickets. This monthly mission event begins around 7:45 am. Guests arrive and gather in the alcove. Tickets are distributed at 8:30 am. Everyone is invited to stay for a brief worship service with communion at 8:40 am. You are invited to come and join us for that service.

Laundry Love is Sunday, July 12. We gather at the College Town Laundromat on 17th Street by WSU.

The Grace Evangelism Team received a grant from the presbytery to fund this initiative. Laundry Love is a national grass roots effort. What happens is that each month on the second Sunday from 3-5:30 pm we pay for laundry for people at this particular laundromat. The hope is that we offer a blessing to our sisters and brother who can use a little help and that in time we begin to build relationships. Want to know more?
