Join us Sunday, December 7, at 4:00 pm for holiday fun. We’ll gather at Grace then go out into the Crown Heights neighborhood to carol. After singing for our neighbors, we’ll return to the church for chili and cookie decorating. Bring a friend!
Prairie Fire Marathon Runs by Grace
On Sunday, October 12, the Prairie Fire Marathon and Half Marathon takes place in Wichita. Runners fill the streets of our city. Not only that, they run past Grace Presbyterian Church on Douglas Ave.
This is a wonderful opportunity for us. We get to show our support to hundreds of people. Last year we had a blast sitting and standing on the lawn and cheering for the runners.
We’ll gather on the east lawn around 8:00 am. Around 9:00 am, we’ll have a Bluegrass band provide music for us and the runners. Feel free to bring a folding chair.
The 11:00 am service is in the sanctuary as usual. On this day, it will be led musically by the Bluegrass band.
Food Trucks at Grace on October 15.
The Food Trucks are coming back to Grace. Join us in the east parking lot on Wednesday, October 15, starting at 5:30 PM. You’ll buy your dinner from a truck, and we’ll provide indoor and outdoor seating. Enjoy some fellowship with your meal.
