Food Trucks are coming back to Grace on May 13 from 5:30-7 pm. Join us in the East parking lot off of Douglas Ave. We’ll have tables set up, so you buy your food and then stick around for fellowship. The three trucks this month are:

Laundry Love: May 10

Laundry Love is Sunday, May 10, from 3-5:30 pm at the College Town Laundry on 17th street between Oliver and

Laundry Love is a national grass roots effort. The idea is to “take-over” a laundry mat on the same day each month at the same time and to pay for everyone’s laundry.

The Grace evangelism team received a grant from the presbytery for this endeavor. In April we served 22 individuals/families and enjoyed time talking and hanging out in the laundry mat. This is a fantastic opportunity for us to be the church in the community. We need about 8-10 volunteers each month. Sign up at the church or by calling Catherine in the office, 684-5215.

Laundry Love: May 10

Laundry Love is coming! Laundry Love is the monthly Grace initiative where we take-over a laundry mat once a month and pay for everyone’s laundry.  Laundry Love is a national program. Our laundry mat is College Town Laundry located at 3223 E 17th St N by the WSU Campus. We are there Sunday, May 10 from 3 – 5:30 pm.  We need volunteers to work shifts, either 3-4:15 pm or 4:15-5:30 pm. Sign up on the Laundry Love bulletin board in the narthex or email Catherine Neelly Burton, catherine@mygpc.org.

Watermark Books Event: Sue Monk Kidd on May 14

On May 14, we welcome our friends and neighbors from Watermark Books back to Grace. We host Watermark for an author event with Sue Monk Kidd. We are excited for the chance to welcome the community to Grace. This is a ticketed event, but we have free tickets available. Jacob’s Learning Ladder Bike Days

On Wednesday, April 29, and Thursday, April 30, our north parking lot transforms into a bike route. Students from Jacob’s Learning Ladder will bring their bikes and trikes and zoom around the lot for the morning.
